Yes. Traditional Vastu was written for independent houses, but its logic — fire in the southeast, water in the northeast, weight in the southwest, an open centre — applies to any enclosed living space. For a flat, treat the flat itself as the plot: stand at its centre, find north with a compass app, and read each room’s direction from there. The building’s orientation and the plot matter much less than what happens inside your front door.

In a typical 2BHK, the larger bedroom should ideally be on the southwest side for the parents, the second bedroom on the northwest or west for children or guests, the kitchen on the southeast or northwest, and the living-dining space in the north or east. If your 2BHK has the master bedroom in the northeast, it is generally better used as a study or children’s room, with the southwest room taken by the eldest couple.
